In their first full tribute show, the Rockit All-Stars performed the classic album, Who’s Next in its entirety on June 26. The production was faithful to the music and details of an era gone-by. The 45-minute set delighted the Count Basie audience. Rockit director, Bruce Gallipani sat in on drums for two songs. A slideshow created by Rockit photographer Glen DiCrocco was projected during “The Song Is Over” which will evolve into a music video for the Rockit rendition of the tune. The show was recorded on video and also documented by Steve Rogers who is working on a new Rockitmentary.
