Rockit Academy joined LOD Foundation Next Generation at The Stone Pony to help raise money and awareness in the battle to defeat Parkison’s, ALS, and PSP. Johnny Pisano, longtime friend of the Rockit Live Foundation, came to support the kids with a kind introduction after a long night of performing for LOD the night before. Another friend of Rockit, John Farsworth, was a last minute special guest saxophonist who helped our musicians fully capture the magic of “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” on the magical Stone Pony stage. John Matlosz from Asbury Park Vibes wrote,”[Rockit] kicked off the day with its trademark blend of professionalism and showmanship… Their seamless setlist transitions ensured a nonstop showcase of excellent covers, captivating the audience from start to finish.” Rockit musicians have been supporting LOD for over a decade and look forward to the next!
