Rockit musicians performed their fall session show, ROAD TRIPPIN’, at the newly reopened House of Independents in Asbury Park on November 22nd, and an encore performance at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club on December 1st. Students performed songs that took you across the country; after opening with the obvious, “On the Road Again,” the audience classic rock hits like, “Mustang Sally” and “The Heart of Rock and Roll,” to more recent pop rock like, “Flowers,” and “Shut up and Drive”. There was something for everyone from punk rock “Search and Destroy” to beautiful ballads like “Crying” by Roy Orbison. New York to Cleveland to California, and so much in between, this ROAD TRIPPIN’ show was a fun ride.
