Community Service
The Rockit Live Foundation’s curriculum encourages its musicians to use their talents to better support their community by either creating awareness or raising funds for a variety of worthy causes. Rockit Academy students have the opportunity to participate in multiple community service events and concerts throughout the year and earn community service hours for their dedication. This important part of Rockit’s curriculum has been so well received that students now approach director Bruce Gallipani with their own ideas for fundraiser concerts.

In December each year, Rockit joins with Be Like Jake the Tank, a non-profit foundation that raises awareness and funds for childhood cancer, to bring holiday cheer to a deserving child affected by cancer and their family. Rockit musicians carol holiday songs after a surprise parade by local police and fire companies. The night ends with the family being presented with gifts and financial assistance.
