On Saturday, April 13th, 2024 the Rockit Live Foundation presented “A Celebration of Garfield’s Brigati Brothers” sponsored by Rosemarie & Louis Aloia and Family, Garfield NJ at Hackensack Performing Arts Center in Hackensack, NJ. Hackensack Mayor John Labrosse kicked off the night’s introductions. The night’s celebration began with Rockit Academy student musicians performing 60’s classics followed by the Eddie Brigati Honors Scholarship band, GROOVIN’, paying tribute to Eddie and David by performing songs by The Young Rascals, as well as songs David Brigati sang over the course of his career. Special guest performers included Stevie Van Zandt, Johnny Farina and Liberty DeVitto. The night also included a heartfelt film by Joe Russo, The Rascals archivist and historian.
