What a weekend for Rockit Executive Director, Bruce Gallipani, who was invited to the University of Miami for the 2025 Frost School of Music Super Teachers Weekend where he and 8 other music educators across the country were named SUPER TEACHER by the faculty of the Frost School of Music!
Frost flew Bruce down to Miami for a jam-packed weekend of meeting with faculty, students, ensembles, classroom visits, tours and presentations! He’s excited to tell our current students everything he experienced and learned about the prestigious Frost School of Music, from scholarship opportunities to class offerings!
Bruce was nominated by Professor Dan Strange who has seen a plethora of Rockit Academy alumni audition and attend the prestigious Frost School of Music. “Super teachers” are chosen based on their exceptional contributions to the world of music education and positively shaping the next generation.
Bruce also had a chance to meet up with Nick Grande and William Blake, two Rockit alumni who are currently students at University of Miami! “It was an amazing weekend and I’m very grateful to everyone who made this happen, including our amazing team.” -Bruce
