On Sunday, March 24th, 2024 Rockit Alumni Arielle Borges’s short film, “Rockit! The Making of a Musician” was a finalist at this year’s Garden State Film Festival at the Berkeley Kingsley Ballroom in Asbury Park, NJ. Arielle’s film captures the unique essence of Rockit and what it means to the academy’s musicians. It has won multiple awards, including a NJ Film Award, Basie Center Best Documentary, Best Short Holmdel High School Film Festival, and a Pegasus Film Fest Selection. The Rockit Live Foundation is extremely proud of Arielle’s accomplishments and thanks her for choosing to capture Rockit in her film.
